Love the Simple Things

Friday Five

1. A new package of crafty goodness arrived today.  Let's just say it's white with thread, a needle and a foot. 

2. Had a wonderful night out with some good friends tonight.  And I'm pretty sure all our kiddos had a blast with the babysitters as no one budged when we got home and they gave us sad faces that their night was over. 

3. Laney is dangerous.  Where Maya used to play with her little pile of toys no problem as a baby, Laney leaves the toy pile for bigger and better things like wires that plug into the wall and copy paper inside the printer stand.  Oh we really gotta watch this girl.

4. Picked up the girls' Easter dresses today. Matchy matchy!  I'll post a pic soon.  Gotta love when the Gap 30% discount is good at the outlets too.

5. Laney's new favorite food- Kraft mac n cheese.  She just kept signing more more more:)

Bonus- Yet another Maya-ism that brightens my day lately. 

5 on Friday

1. Now she's playin with the big girls in the playroom

 

2. Target today- Enfamil and Pampers on sale, and I had coupons for them as well.  Saved $14 dollars on my total bill.  Whoo hoo!

3. Got to have a fun BK lunch with my sis in law and our girlies. 

4. In the mood to organize and scrap today.  I have a mini album in my head.  Going to use Maya's flower girl pictures from 2 summers ago.  Pink and Black!

5. I had the privilege of sharing tea with Cinderella today.  It was magical!

5 on Friday

1. I love surprising Maya.  I didn't tell her we were going to see HSM3 today.  Just dropped off Laney at a friend's house and drove to the theater.  She practically peed herself with excitement when we got there.  As did I- LOVE LOVE LOVE those movies- and this one's the best!

2. Still looking for a winter coat for the 4 year old. 

3. Tomorrow I am making pumpkin cream cheese squares...yummmmmm.

4. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?  I have.

5. Family pictures tomorrow.  Hopefully the rain holds off for us.  Laney's 4 months as well.  This should be good- 2 great grand parents, 2 grandparents, 5 siblings with significant others, 10 kids 7 and under and a cold rainy fall day.  Wish us luck!  Stories to follow I am sure as well as trick or treat pictures!!!
